Harris-Stowe State University plans to establish a new entrepreneurship center that will support and train entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities.
The historically Black public university expects to open its Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in fall 2022. The center will be located at an existing building at 3203 and 3205 Olive Ave., adjacent to Harris-Stowe’s campus in Midtown. The university said it is currently in the design process for renovation of the building.
“It’s really going to be a safe space for Black entrepreneurs to have everything they need in one place and know where they can go for support,” said Dean – Stacy Gee Hollins.
